WARRANTY INFORMATION:

WARRANTY

This warranty is given by the party noted at the top of the front page of this invoice. The Battery Guys are contactable by calling (08) 6388 0980. If your battery is found to be defective in material or workmanship, and not merely discharged or flat, during the designated period specified on the front of the invoice, the battery will be replaced free of charge. The warranty applies from the date of original sale.

THE WARRANTY ALSO DOES NOT COVER A BATTERY:

  • That fails due to improper charging, incorrect fitment, broken container or cover, damaged caused by fire, excessive heat, wreckage, explosion,

Light left on and drained the battery, where the car left stationed for a extended period of time, freezing, damage caused by abuse or modification, neglect or the use of a special additives introduced into the battery;

  • Where you have changed your mind about the battery and no longer want it;
  • Where you have found the battery at a cheaper price elsewhere or made the wrong selection;
  • Where you knew about faults to your vehicle that may affect your battery prior to purchasing the battery; or
  • You have purchased the battery despite advice that it may not meet your needs.

Necessary precautions to prevent any damage to your vehicle are taken during the course of any work being carried out. As modern vehicle computers can be corrupted, an electrical system memory protector (ESMP) is used to ensure retention of vehicle computer memories. The

provision of a sound system pin code is the responsibility of the driver of the vehicle owner. The Battery Guys will not meet any expense in pin code recovery.

Responsibility for damage caused that is not related to the battery fitment cannot be accepted.

CONSUMER GUARANTEES

The benefits given to you by this warranty are in addition to other rights and remedies you have in relation to the goods to which this warranty relates. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian consumer law.

WARRANTY CLAIM PROCEDURE

To make a warranty claim, call The Battery Guys on (08) 6388 0980 or bring your battery to The Battery Guys at 3/124 Winton Rd, Joondalup. Please note that a warranty claim will not be honoured unless proof of purchase, such as an invoice or bank statement, is provided.

When a warranty claim is made, a service call-out fee of $89 will be charged, unless you bring the battery to 3/124 Winton Rd, Joondalup.

Your battery will be tested at the above-mentioned address, and if failed, a new replacement battery will be given free of charge.

Your information is collected to be able to provide your battery product and related services.

Your information may be disclosed to any third parties involved in providing your battery manufacturer related services, including contractors and service providers. If you do not provide the information requested, you may not be able to receive the battery product or related services.
